Andrew Rizzo Raw, rebellious, and slightly disturbing: three adjectives that go a long way in describing the work of Tyler Rexeisen (T-REX), a Los Angeles-based visual artist whose turn to art as a means of therapy has translated into real commercial success and recognition. The latest chapter of that journey is his first-ever footwear collaboration, T-REX linking with OTW by Vans on the Slip-On for June 2026.
Some brands might not want to get into bed with a guy known for half-nude devil women artworks, but Vans’ rebellious ethos fits Rexeisen’s quite naturally. Factor in that he hails from Southern California and came up in skateboarding, and the link-up starts to feel like a foregone conclusion.
The T-REX Slip-On keeps it G, featuring a hazy screen-printed image of a woman’s face with ornate patterns around the toe and forefoot. Cream-colored leather makes up the main heel section, while white sidewalls round things out underfoot.
