The Nike KD 19 has taken over social media feeds, in no small part due to the continuing cameo appearances by one Aubrey Drake Graham. Running underneath his latest signature shoe is the Slim Reaper and the Swoosh’s effort to bring some of his most beloved archival designs back to the forefront, with the Nike KD 6 the current major beneficiary.
All of the silhouette’s bring-back releases have revisited original colorways from its 2013/14 run, and the next is no exception. Official images have now landed of the Nike KD 6 “Meteorology,” a colorway that got a bit meta for Durant’s 6th. With the “Weatherman” concept established as a favorite within the line, this pair borrows the topographic prints from those looks with a moodier palette, here outfitted in shades of “Black/Medium Olive/Noble Red.” OG specs like Flywire containment and Air Max/Zoom cushioning remain in place.
The Nike KD 6 “Meteorology” is set for an August 8th release date with a $135 MSRP.
