Jordan Brand has truly attempted to break the internet several times over the past few years. The Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 returning to shelves, every step of the Travis Scott x Fragment Design journey, the Air Jordan 1 ’85 “Bred;” all of these stories have felt engineered in a lab to generate the most hype possible.
Yet all of those pale in comparison to an earnest white whale for Jordan Brand fans: a collab Air Jordan 11. Though the Whitaker Group is set to bring shared designs to the Air Jordan 11 Low, of course the wider sneaker universe remains fixated on the mid-cut, a silhouette that Comme des Garçons will get the first crack at toward the end of this year.

In some ways, the A-list Beaverton collaborator is the perfect first partner for the model. Understanding the absolute weight of the task, the high fashion label is able to credibly apply no-frills, simplistic concepts to the championship-winning sneaker, draped comprehensively in white and black across two contrasting colorways. Glossy midsole treatments mark the only real divergence from what the AJ11 has accomplished before, though from these images, we’re expecting premium leathers in the uppers. Debossed Jumpman and CDG text on the lateral and medial sides combine with a dual stamp on the insoles for a weighty package of branding.
The COMME des GARCONS x Air Jordan 11 are expected to release this September, with a premium on usual Retro retail pricing. Catch detailed images of both colorways below and keep our Jordan Release Dates 2026 page within reach for more info as this story plays out.
