Matt Varga For the nostalgia-driven and the old school football diehards, the resurgence of Deion Sanders shoes has been a godsend, reviving what’s truly one of Nike’s most iconic signature lines. While the lifestyle lane surely casts the widest net, it’s also been welcome news for those intent on making good on Prime Time’s “look good, play good” mantra, as he and the Swoosh have filled out performance product alongside.
As we await the Nike Diamond Turf 2 “49ers” in its original cross-trainer build, we’re now learning that a cleated version will accompany it to shelves. One of the more essential looks for Deion’s second silhouette, the same colorway on the base composition bridges onto this pair, including a swapped black interior that distinguishes it from the original late 90’s pairs.
The Nike Diamond Turf 2 Cleat “49ers” is confirmed for a July 13th release and a $210 retail price.
