Paris-Saint Germain and KD Bring Their Nike KD 6 On September 18th

Today’s athlete is required to wear so many hats on top of their performance on the field of play. We’re reticent to put that in the “cons” column, but the size of modern NBA contracts has found plenty of this generation’s superstars crossing over into ownership roles, from LeBron’s stake in Liverpool to Kevin Durant’s slice of Paris Saint-Germain.

Given his status as a lifetime Nike athlete and Ligue 1’s position under the Swoosh, those ties now step into the realm of footwear. Adding to a sturdy legacy of PSG x Beaverton collabs is the Paris Saint-Germain Nike KD 6. Though the 2010s silhouette has succeeded in its retro bring-back, this marks the first totally new colorway since its original run, overall aligning with the KD 18 PE created soon after he purchased his stake through its team-specific palette and serving as a follow-up to a “DC to Paris” apparel collection released shortly after that.

Of course, that navy and red trim dots around what is the real highlight: boot-like uppers in metallic silver that help bridge the gap between court-ready tooling and pitch-specific aesthetics. On the lateral sides, a circular “35” badge adds an extra cross-category splash representing both KD’s playing career and PSG’s flair.

Again, the Paris Saint-Germain x Nike KD 6 releases on September 18th. Retail pricing hasn’t been confirmed, but this will likely carry a slight premium over the silhouette’s usual $140 MSRP.
