Andrew Rizzo Vans is milking this whole “Pearlized” wave for all it’s worth, and can you blame them? The lingering creations of former Vans designer Greg Betty (now with Jordan Brand) have been the most consequential catalysts behind the SoCal skate/surf brand’s recent ascension, and as long as such styles keep selling out, they’ll stay in the release pipeline.
The brand’s newest release isn’t “new” in a traditional sense. Originally released at ComplexCon last October before getting a wider Vans drop the following month, the Old Skool Pearlized “Marshmallow” is circling back for another run in October 2026. The same Marshmallow canvas upper and pre-scuffed sidewalls anchor the design, but there’s even more pearl/stone detailing to appreciate this time around. While the first drop featured pearls on both the Jazz stripe and toe box, the 2026 edition pushes further with extra bedazzling on the tongue and heel panels.
The Vans Old Skool Pearlized “Marshmallow” releases October 8th, 2026 via Vans and select retailers for $130 in adult unisex sizes.
