Andrew Rizzo With fall unofficially underway as we push deeper into September, Nike Basketball is already getting into its Halloween bag with first looks at some of the special holiday-inspired styles set to define 2026. Most Nike Basketball signature models are expected to mark the occasion in their own way, and for our purposes that means the Nike Book 2, here surfacing in an eerie, monster-inspired colorway with special detailing a fun add-on.
Official retailer images show a white leather and mesh foundation featuring broken black stitching along the mudguard, an element pulled straight from the skeleton-esque Nike Book 1 “Halloween” from 2024. The Swoosh features black piping, while green, potentially glow-in-the-dark “Book” text appears on the tongue in a Halloween-style font. What truly sets the release apart is a paper mask featuring Devin Booker’s face as a zombie-slash-monster creature, complete with an orange Nike headband and other zombie-adjacent details.
