Given the Holiday shopping season doesn’t earnestly start until October, you’ve still got time to avoid the naughty list. If you can keep coal of your stocking, Jordan Brand and Nike are prepping a massive slate of truly holiday-themed colorways across their Retro roster for the end of the year. Yes, of course the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” and Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” will be at the top of Christmas lists far and wide, but a run of releases including the Jordan 3 “Fireside,” Kobe 6 “Coals,” and now, the Air Jordan 12 “Fireside” are keeping wintertime tradition at the heart of Beaverton’s release plans.
Originally reported as the Air Jordan 12 “Eggnog,” this shoe was shown early to Sneaker News at a private New York City showing. Though the cream and brown coloring initially reported is intact, the layout from early mock-ups has been almost entirely subverted. This pair keeps to “Flu Game” or “Playoff” style blocking with a hefty dose of cocoa and cream, almost assuredly the cozy inspirations behind this variation.
Shrewd audience members will surely draw a line between these and the SoleFly Jordan 12 from 2024, and we can’t entirely dispel those visual similarities. However, a cream coloring through the upper, whitened pull tab, contrast midfoot plate, and metallic brown eyelets help distinguish these beyond the obvious differences.
The Air Jordan 12 “Fireside” is confirmed to release on October 24th, only a few weeks after the Air Jordan 3 “Fireside.” Catch detailed imagery below and watch our Jordan Release Dates page for more info as we receive it.
