If you told us this upcoming Air Jordan 3 was a scrapped Travis Scott shoe, we might believe you. Jordan Brand is once again teeing up a general release featuring the earthy palette of its most hyped collaborator, debuting a women’s Jordan 3 “Fireside” with a handful of familiar Travis hallmarks.
Borrowing the Travis Scott aesthetic is nothing new for Jordan Brand, seen time and again across general releases that aren’t too shy about leaning on the s-tier celeb’s clout. The “Fireside” 3s feature Velvet Brown across nearly the entire upper and midsole, including a tumbled leather foundation, suede tongue and collar, and elephant print panels on the toe and heel. Pearl White hits land on the tongue and heel, both featuring Jumpman logos, while Gum Light Brown soles round out the core elements underfoot.
The biggest Travis tie-in comes by way of the extras, official retailer images revealing an extra set of pale pink laces. We’re also reminded of Anthony Hamilton’s Jordan 3 “Chocolate” PE, one of many owned by the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, who has all Jordans 1-23 done in comparable fashion.
