Shareef O’Neal Debuts Shareef By Shaq Collection At NYFW

The Big Aristotle famously jumped around the footwear landscape during his time in the spotlight, from LA Gear to Reebok to Li-Ning. Yet as the story goes, a chance encounter in a parking lot inspired him to strike out on his own, turning his attention to his own cost-conscious venture during the latter half of his time with the Lakes. As we covered towards the end of 2025, Shaq chose his son, Shareef O’Neal, as his successor as he began plotting a renewed version of Shaq Brand.

New product was already available at the time of our conversation, including fresh colorways of the Dunkman 1.0, Reign, and Devastator, but as always, footwear development typically operates on a schedule of at least a year. New York Fashion Week provided an opportunity for Shareef O’Neal and Shaq Brand to tease some of their upcoming steps, with a skate-like silhouette stepping forward as the key product.

Fitted with a cupsole and a removable zip shroud, this yet-unnamed model bears an abstract interpretation of the Dunkman logo on the lateral side and chunky laces, marking a step beyond the typical performance roots of the company. Beyond that sneaker, additional faces like the Devastator and 4XT make appearances, as well as a running shoe with perforated siding and a molded sole unit.

Firm release details for any of these new Shaq shoes previewed by Shareef O’Neal haven’t been announced just yet. In the meantime, catch in-hand shots below.
