Jordan Brand’s jaunt through its own archives continues. Whether it’s the Jordan 3 “Harbor Blue” or Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow,” reviving previously untouched retros from the 2000’s has been a constant drumbeat throughout the Jumpman’s 2026. The Air Jordan 5 “Sunset” is now primed to join that group, a 2006 women’s exclusive that makes good on its title with orange and red accents dotted around a pure white base. Part of the reason that it and many of its peers from that era have reached such vaunted status in the minds of collectors is their “LS” era timing, representative of the first real push from Jordan Brand outside of standard sporty coloring.
To put it differently, retros before that period typically stuck to Bulls coloring or otherwise simplistic combinations of white and red. These “Lifestyle” colorways picked out more far-flung palette inspirations, something that planted this “Sunset” make-up and pairs that followed into a very unique position in the catalog. For this 20th anniversary re-take, you can expect a true Retro, with the exception of a slightly modified shape that’s defined recent AJ5 drops.
