Andrew Rizzo NBA trainer extraordinaire Chris Brickley has officially unveiled his fourth PUMA sneaker ahead of the 2026/27 season, delivering a clean black and white colorway and the kind of storytelling chops we’ve come to expect from The Summit founder.
The sneaker is called the PUMA All-Pro Nitro 2 “Race 2 Evolve,” built around the idea of continuous growth, something Brickley instills in many of the professional hoopers who come to train with him, and perhaps something of a personal motto for the trainer himself. The cycle of failure, adjustment, and improvement we see in sports plays out much like an actual race around the track.
Brickley’s work as a trainer manifests as a fictional auto body shop, anchored by a racing-esque font reading “Brickley Design & Engineering” on the medial side of the heel. Checkered racing flags appear on the tongue, while the upper incorporates a blown-up checkered pattern across the underlays, tastefully peeking through a layer of black netting. The main portion of the midsole cleans up in grey with white specks, potentially a nod to asphalt, while everything else lands in black.
The PUMA All-Pro Nitro 2 is the Big Cat’s premier non-signature hoops shoe, featuring a dual density midsole, engineered mesh upper, and high-abrasion traction underfoot. This is Brickley’s second take on the model following his New York-inspired “Empire Legacy” colorway from last year.
