The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Last Dance At The Garden” drops on September 26th, retailing for $155 in adult sizing. Just when you thought there was no unturned stone left in Michael Jordan’s legendary career, Jordan Brand readies another pair based on a fresh “Frozen Moment.” On March 8th, 1998, His Airness readied for what would eventually be his final game at Madison Square Garden in a Bulls uniform, fully aware of its significance. For the occasion, he laced up an original pair of his Air Jordan 1 “Chicago,” and though he’d eventually feel the effects, ending up with bleeding and blistered feet given he’d grown from a size 12.5 to a size 13.5 during his career, it’d become an iconic moment in sneaker history for the legend.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Last Dance at the Garden” pays homage to that game, taking its title from the venue and the documentary that chronicled his final year in the Windy City. This low-cut interpretation takes the “Garden” inspo quite literally, pinning sheer florals atop the usual “Chicago” blocking, with further homages to the blue and yellow via a two-tone pull-tab on the tongue and orange heel logos. If you’d rather rep NYC than the Chi, blue and orange alternate laces allow you to represent the Big Apple yourself.
