Andrew Rizzo Bape is checking for ComplexCon 2026 with a Bape Sta trio built around the streetwear icon’s 25th anniversary. Available for purchase at Booth G41 are three exclusive colorways, one representing the past, one the present, and one the future.
The press kit shows all three styles in full, with the “past” version the easiest to define by a long shot. Made to look like a true archive pull, the sneaker comes decked out in cracked silver leather with a heavily distressed midsole sitting underfoot. The black pair shown below is most likely the “present,” arriving with a simple black leather foundation and oversized silver lightning bolts.
The supposed “future” colorway is the star of the show, working in multiple iconic Bape motifs with a Sta logo passing through an open shark mouth on the lateral side. Eye-inspired panels frame the heel, the upper at large leaning heavily on metallic silver leather.
Bape’s ComplexCon appearance will also include 25 archival Bape Sta styles on display, all the more reason to swing by, particularly if you’re more interested in the history of the brand than lugging home another pair. A full suite of 25th anniversary apparel will also be available, including hoodies featuring some of the archive pairs.
