Matt Varga Football is back in full force, both on your television set and in the halls of Beaverton. We’ve spilled a ton of ink in the past several weeks on the ongoing Nike Vaporposite PE series, a way for CFB programs to get in what’s always been a rich vein of news from their college basketball counterparts. Yet with Deion Sanders and Nike back in each other’s good graces, you can carry an “any given Sunday” mentality into your day-to-day, now with the Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 “Black Patent.”
It’s certainly not an OG colorway, but this glossy edition is certainly steeped in the same chest-out attitude that Prime Time brought to his playing days. Further, it’s a nice piece of serendipity that this menacing red-on-black aligns with his career in Atlanta. The patent leather that’s central to this design touches genuinely every piece of the upper, and outside of the logos in red, jet black tonality follows it through the bulk of this shoe’s real estate.
The Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 “Black Patent” is confirmed for a Holiday 2026 drop, retailing for $170. Catch official images below; we’ll have the latest on this pair housed here and on our Sneaker Release Dates page.
