Andrew Rizzo Well this is new. The Nike Zoom Vomero 5, the recipient of dozens if not hundreds of unique releases in the last few years alone, continues its run with a true curveball for Holiday 2026, teeing up a women’s exclusive style with some serious attitude.
Edgy, feminine, and Y2K chic all at the same time, the sneaker stands out with Medium Soft Pink leather overlays cut with tons of jagged edges, particularly evident around the forefoot and heel. We’re immediately reminded of the New Balance 2000 “Liquid Metal” series, taken through an almost identical aesthetic lens. Mini metal studs frame the two main quarter panels, matched by a metallic silver mini Swoosh on the lateral side of the toe and a larger silver Swoosh with a black border on the quarter. The tongue is cut from black leather rather than mesh, while black ribbon laces further harp on the edgy chic vibe at play. Everything else, including the mesh foundational layer and Cushlon midsole, cleans up in black.
