Is This Upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Collection An Homage To The Remix Da Kickz?

A throwback undercurrent.

Is This Upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Collection An Homage To The Remix Da Kickz?

Y2K inspirations have never been more of a priority within Beaverton. Rehashing some of the era’s classics has been a constant in Jordan Brand’s 2026, from the Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow” to the Jordan 5 “Sunset,” and Nike proper has gotten in on the action in heavy doses. The Nike Air Force 1 ’01 might just be the best representation, celebrating a cult classic era for the silhouette by reviving a foregone build with the colorways to match. If Swoosh designer Frank Cooker has anything to say about it, this will only be the beginning, as he took to Instagram to tease a new set inspired by some 2000s classics.

For the uninitiated, we’re hinting at the Nike Air Force 1 “Remix Da Kickz,” an early-century team-up between the Swoosh and the AF1 customizer duo. With their officially sanctioned opportunity, they birthed two colorways, one in state-sanctioned blue and orange that’s been a hallmark of NY since its founding, and a similarly collegiate light teal and yellow.

For this tacit follow-up, Nike leans on similar blocking, with vibrant coloring fitting in between white overlays, lace units, and midsoles. Though the shades may differ, the original two colorways appear somewhat intact for this revival, now expanded into a four-pack with fresh navy/yellow and red/goldenrod peers.

Frank Cooker’s leaks have predated upcoming releases by weeks or sometimes by months; we don’t currently have firm info on when to expect this Nike Air Force 1 “Vintage Sports” pack. In the meantime, feast your eyes on in-hand images below.
