Nike Brings Glow-In-The-Dark Soles To The GT Cut 1 “Purple Comet”

Another flashy look for the fan favorite hoops shoe.

Nike Brings Glow-In-The-Dark Soles To The GT Cut 1 “Purple Comet”

Hoopers’ love for the Nike Zoom GT Cut 1 was simply too much to ignore. Four years removed from its deceleration in 2022 as Nike made room for its successor, the shoe that kicked off the “Greater Than” line is back like it never left, once again in regular syndication thanks to still thriving popularity in China and beyond.

This Fall/Winter 2026 release is energetic to the max with a multitude of vibrant accent colors, led by Purple Comet across the heart of the upper. The bottom half is the real star of the show, taken with glow-in-the-dark soles and a striking Hot Punch, Laser Fuchsia, and Purple Comet gradient with paint splatter on the midsole. The fragmented upper detailing keeps energy high in red and Topaz Gold – just beautiful.

The Nike Zoom GT Cut 1 “Purple Comet” lands Fall/Winter 2026 via Nike for $190. Check out official images below if you’re considering adding a pair to your hoops rotation.

In other basketball shoe news, the Caitlin 1 was Nike’s biggest women’s signature shoe launch of all time.
