Jalen Brunson wasn’t the only Knick with some ring night heat. His teammate, former roommate, and fellow Nike man Josh Hart laced up something special for the occasion as well, shelving his Kobe rotation in favor of a standout Nike A’Two PE featuring Knicks colors and gold confetti.
A perfect complement to the Knicks’ opening night jerseys and insane championship rings, Hart’s A’Two PE sports a metallic blue foundation with gold confetti scattered across, almost like it fell from the rafters onto the shoes. The Swoosh, outsole, and inner lining are done in orange, while the team’s newly hoisted championship banner lives on the tongue.
We’re not surprised Josh Hart popped out in some heat, but we’ll admit we didn’t expect it to be an A’ja Wilson shoe. Since arriving in New York, Hart has largely played second fiddle to Jalen Brunson as Kobe Brand’s Knicks representative, often matching the star guard in the same shoes. And Hart was a Kobe guy long before he landed in New York, favoring models like the Kobe 5 and Kobe 6 throughout much of his nearly decade-long NBA career.
That makes his switch to A’ja Wilson’s signature line to open the 2026/27 season all the more interesting. Players changing up their preferred sneaker lines at the start of a new season is nothing new, but given Hart’s long-standing allegiance to Kobes, it’s fair to wonder whether the A’Two remains his go-to. We’d be pretty surprised if it is.
Peep images of Hart’s Nike A’Two “Ring Night” PE below. These are not currently expected to release, but we’ve certainly seen stranger things.
