This is definitely one of the more elaborate Air Jordan 1s we’ve seen in a minute. Stacking multiple methods for making a standout Jordan release is the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Starfall,” a China exclusive available now via Nike and select retailers.
Eyes are first drawn to the quarter, where the Swoosh, or lack thereof, is represented by a stitched outline with perforations sitting offset in its usual place. The Wings logo around the collar sees a similar transformation, appearing in canvas with frayed edges and sitting away from its true location to keep the deconstructed theme going. The colorway skews simple in “Cobblestone/Off-White/Dark Smoke Grey/Summit White,” but note the panel and color splits around the upper and lower eyestays.
Things only get more radical from there. Silver star graphics are pasted across the sides on both the leather upper and midsole, while large old English “AIR” lace dubraes are included, shown below reining in rope laces. More of the same graphics land on the outsole and insoles, and a matching bandana is included for good measure.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Starfall” is available now exclusively in China. If you’re located elsewhere, your best bet is the aftermarket.
