Let us fill you in on the playbook if you’re unaware. For a while now, every landmark Jordan retro has been accompanied by a full suite of extras made to get people talking, namely matching colorways of Jordan models that are historically unhyped or otherwise overlooked. The Air Jordan 4 “Bred” is the big dog this time around, set to return this Thanksgiving weekend in massive quantities. Joining the chorus is this matching black and red take on the Jordan Son of Mars Low.
The Spike Lee hybrid is no stranger to borrowing colorways made famous by the models that inspire it, but this is the closest thing we’ve gotten to “Bred” Jordan 4 cosplay by our account. Black nubuck and patent leather hold down the upper, while Fire Red accents land on the midsole, inner tongue, and quarter eyestay. The Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, and 6 all play a role in the design, a more niche hybrid than say the Jordan 6 Rings and Spiz’ike, but still not without its fans.
The Jordan Son of Mars Low “Bred” releases soon via Nike and select retailers for $165 in men’s sizing. Check out official images below and hit our Jordan releases page for more.
