With linear TPU accents dominating its uppers, the Nike Air Max Plus 3 is a silhouette of intricate details, often paired with equally attention-grabbing neons. However, an upcoming pair is ditching the usual bright gradients for a simple grey and navy build and opting for high viz laces.
This offering sees a grey mesh base with TPU design lines in a matching shade. As grey TPU accents cover the uppers, a navy heel clip helps to strike a color balance. These neutral tones are interrupted by neon orange rope laces and hints of orange found in the Air unit and underfoot. Also underfoot is an outsole with a speckled design, which is attributed to Nike Regrind—a rubber material constructed of recycled products as seen on a slew of January releases.
While a release date is not yet known, you can expect to see the pair at Nike.com in the coming months, with a retail price of $190.
And if you’re looking for more grey shoes, the Nike Pegasus ’83 is returning in the OG “Smoke Grey” colorway.
