Nike Sportswear’s plant dye-inspired collection has produced over a dozen looks since first emerging in December 2020. While a firm release date (or an official announcement) hasn’t been disclosed, iconic silhouettes like the Nike Air Force 1 Low continue to indulge in botanical themes, the latest highlighting catechu.
Constructed from a lightweight, either canvas or hemp material, the forthcoming pair primarily indulges in a “White” color scheme. As with Air Max 90 and Blazer Mid propositions that’ve surfaced from the impending capsule, profile swooshes, branding on the tongue and upper heel panels deliver starkly-colored contrast (in this case, “Light Sienna”). The Indian acacia tree – responsible for catechu extract – is depicted on the lateral heel. Elsewhere, cork enters the mix at the lace dubraes and outsole, furthering the nature-inspired theme.

Elsewhere under the Swoosh umbrella, the LeBron 18 Low “LeBronold Palmer” is set to launch soon.
Updated April 28th, 2021: The release date for all the “Plant Based” collection has been postponed for a later date.
Updated April 5th, 2021: A release date is scheduled for April 29th, 2021.
