With the 30th anniversary of Nike’s Swoosh logo less than a month away, the Beaverton-based brand won’t be slowing down its unveiling of models under the “First Use” pack. Another Air Force 1 is joining the pack but in a near-tuxedo, white-on-black style that strays from the neutrals and brights seen on most AF1s among the collection.
To give its pitch-black leather uppers a graphic look, the pair uses white contrast stitching throughout. The side Swooshes opt for a reversed take on the aforementioned base by flaunting a white leather makeup with black stitches instead. Below these Swooshes, there’s an absence of any text featuring the date when the iconic checkmark became Nike’s logo—one of the pack’s seemingly defining features. However, a labeled insole and gold Swoosh lace dubrae are other distinguishing elements that have made their way onto this model. A white midsole and black outsole completes the two-tone look and solidifies its placement in the “First Use” series.
Enjoy official images of the Air Force 1 below, which will arrive at Nike.com in the coming months with a price tag of $110.
