Tennis Star Danielle Collins Helps New Balance Launch The Fresh Foam X Lav V2

New Balance has recently been dominating the lifestyle sneaker scene via the resurrection of the New Balance 550 and collaborations with names such as Sneakersnstuff and Casablanca. But the Boston-based brand has not neglected to continue its developments on the performance trainer front. New Balance will soon be releasing the innovative Fresh Foam X Lav V2 and has recruited tennis superstar Danielle Collins for their campaign.

While the model has yet to be released, some may recognize the tennis shoe worn by Collins herself during the French Open. It references design cues from New Balance’s ever-growing basketball line to ensure the quality and support demanded by the tennis court. The white FitWeave mesh knit upper delivers lightweight comfort and features metallic blue “N” logo outlines on both sides. More touches of blue are further added to branded elements on the tongue and underfoot. In true tennis trainer fashion, a cushioned Fresh Foam midsole also indulges in white to match the base and round out the sleek look.

Check out the official campaign imagery for the Fresh Foam X Lav V2 below, which will hit newbalance.com on June 25 with a price tag of $150.
