The Nike Air Max 97 Flaunts An Elegant Pale Pink Palette

The Nike Air Max 97 Flaunts An Elegant Pale Pink Palette

Now that we’re well into Summer, Olympics themes, fruit references, and vivid colorways are expected from footwear brands. While Nike has been ticking off all three boxes when it comes to their new releases, the Swoosh is also unafraid to deviate from these trends to bring about other impressive styles. An upcoming Nike Air Max 97 exemplifies this as it flaunts a tonal pastel look.

This women’s exclusive sees its nylon-like base tinted in a soft pink that is most likely to be the shade “Barely Rose.” Smooth leather mudguards are in a matching hue while the signature wavy overlays opt for a stark white finish. For added contrast that still maintains a tonal look overall, a darker blush tone is applied to the Swoosh-emblazoned overlay above the midsole. The two variations of pink meet again to highlight the lacestays around the tongue. This pastel model is complete with a white midsole that features the AM 97’s iconic full-length Air unit.

Take a closer look at the Air Max 97 below, which will hit Nike.com in the near future at a price of $170.
