As it hits the half-way point of its 30th anniversary, the Nike Air Huarache continues to emerge in a handful of compelling colorways. For its latest proposition, the silhouette has abandoned any original styling in favor of a new and refreshing “Sail/University Red/Black” arrangement.
White and scarlet hues take over much of the pair’s fabric base, while a light cream tone takes over the synthetic leather overlays at the forefoot and along the profiles. The two-tone “Bred” makeup that appears at the core of Tinker Hatfield’s iconic sneaker resembles cross-training options of its debut era, namely the San Francisco 49ers-inspired Diamond Turf. Underfoot, sole units also indulge in the aforementioned hues, with “NIKE AIR” logos at the center of the outsole boasting the boldest of the bunch.
Enjoy official images of the latest take on Hatfield’s 30-year-old design ahead, and expect a Nike.com release soon.
