Having debuted in 1998, the Nike Air Max Plus introduced a number of “firsts” to the brand’s line of products. As it inches closer to what’ll surely be a blockbuster 25th anniversary, the silhouette continues to explore non-original ensembles and builds.
For its latest proposition, Sean McDowell’s Florida-inspired design has indulged in black, white and grey arrangement across its mixed-materials upper and sole unit. Remaining true to its inaugural styles, the newly-surfaced pair boasts gradient finishes from forefoot to spine; palm tree-reminiscent TPU strips lining the profiles follow suit. Jewel-like swooshes on the sidewalls introduce a “Seamfoam” flair into the mix, which also animates the modified Air Max-cushioning underfoot.
Enjoy images of the pair here below, as you wait for the brand to disclose a Nike.com launch.
For footwear with confirmed release dates, check out the “Cool Grey” 11 (Air Jordan model) returning for the whole family on December 11th.
