As the Nike Dunk Low continues to dominate sneaker “wish-lists,” the brand has made a noticeable effort to bring the 37-year-old design to infants and kids. The latest colorway for the “little ones” features grey and red overlays atop a clean white base.
Reminiscent of a previously-seen Dunk High from the “Nike Athletic Club” collection, the upcoming sneakers boast a smooth leather layer that serves as a canvas for the contrasting panels around the forefoot, along the mid-foot and around the heel. Ruby-colored flair animates the profile swooshes, just as it does branding on the top of the tongue and upper heel. Accompanying overlays keep things simple in light grey, complementing the color that takes over the Air Jordan 1-like tread underfoot. Together, each aforementioned component breathes new life into Peter Moore’s 1985-design, which is impressive given how much the made-for-basketball proposition has done over the stretch of five decades.
Enjoy official images of the kid’s shoes ahead, as you wait for a Nike SNKRS release date to be finalized.
Elsewhere under the Swoosh umbrella, the Air Max 97 is set to return in original “Silver Bullet” styling for its 25th anniversary.
