Michael Le As Nike is currently celebrating the Air Force 1‘s 40th Anniversary, it’s easy to believe that any new release bears some sort of significance. But this pair — which further highlights the silhouette’s mid-top trim — is likely par for the course, as it changes very little about the overall construction.
The colorway, however, is unequivocally bold, with light blues dressing throughout the upper’s leathers. And while the midsole, side Swoosh, and adjacent branding may opt for white neutrals, the strap, tongue, and lining follow suit in matching cool tones. Additionally, silver dubraes sit atop the vamp and gum bottoms outfit the shoe underfoot.
