Although the Nike Air Max 95‘s 27th anniversary has yet to include a high-profile collaboration, the sneaker continues to form an important part of the brand’s product lineup.
Recently, the Christian Tresser-designed silhouette appeared in a mix of muted, autumn-ready off-whites and black, and eye-catching, bold blues across its suede and mesh construction. Center vamp overlays and the spine areas to which they connect steal the spotlight with their rich blue hue, while lace loops and layered swooshes at the lateral heel also join the mix. The Air Max units bring some of the upper’s statement-making flair underfoot, keeping things standard from Tresser’s original design from 1995. Branding on the top of the tongue and upper heel area abandon their traditional setup in exchange of playful counterparts that seemingly place the latest AM 95 in a special collection; the latter area dons “95” messaging that resembles a recently-seen Air Force 1 “82”.
No firm Nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
