As NIKE, Inc. moves closer to its carbon neutral future, the Oregon-based conglomerate continues to innovate with its expansive, historic product catalog. Recently, the company unveiled the Nike Air Max 90 Futura in a medley of soft pink tones.
Akin to past “Barely Rose”-clad propositions, the upcoming sneakers indulge in spring and summertime-friendly pinks across their upper and sole unit. Partly-recycled leather, mesh, TPU and suede materials throughout the upper also indulge in a future-forward arrangement, abandoning the blueprint created by Tinker Hatfield in 1990. Pull tabs at the top of the tongue and heel inject newfound functionality to the classic Air Max shoe, while the layered and seemingly “random” accents along the tongue and profiles build on Nike Sportswear recent trend of “deconstructing” its models for a bold, lifestyle-oriented look.
No firm Nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as summer inches closer. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
