While its release schedule has remained scattered, adidas partially 3D-printed model is picking up steam as the fall and winter months close in. With the college football season in full swing, adidas is providing fans of the No. 15 Oregon Ducks with an in-line proposition of the adidas Ultra 4D that borrows the full breadth of the school’s titularly-colored uniforms.
The models dominant PRIMEKNIT upper wraps the foot in a medley of cream, neon and black stitching with the mudguard opting for the lighter shaded hue. The midfoot and latter construction are where the model employs a majority of the colorful medley as vibrant lime green laces connect through “Beam Yellow” eyelets. The latter sunflower color proposes an additional accent filling the textured sock liner while the mesh heel collar proffers a deep forest green tint. Shimmering from the tongue and translucent caging presides Three silver metallic Stripes and golden logos. Underfoot the 3D printed midsole is treated with “Cloud White” and color-matched along the “ULTRA 4D” branded heel counter while the tread concludes in a simple black scheme.
The “Ducks” adidas Ultra 4D releases on September 30th via the store list below for a retail price of $220. In the meantime, take a closer look at the official images of the pair.
In other offerings of the web-constructed silhouette, the adidas Ultra 4D is joining The Three Stripes collaboration with Marvel’s Black Panther in an ode to the character’s vibranium-laced armor.
