An Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “White Cement” Set To Release May 2023

An Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “White Cement” Set To Release May 2023

Over the last handful of years, the Air Jordan 1 has become one of the most sought-out sneaker models on the market. And while the silhouette’s original colorways and special collaborations continue to reign supreme, experimental styles keep landing on #23’s first signature sneaker. The latest?: An all-over “White Cement” take.

Although netizens have already taken to social media to voice their disapproval in the upcoming retro, the “Tech Grey,” “Muslin,” “Black” and “White”-clad pair is rooted in Air Jordan heritage. Greyscale patterns covering overlays around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel and collar are transplanted from the Air Jordan 3, the first shoe designed by Tinker Hatfield for Michael Jordan. “Elephant print” – as it’s been referred to since 1988 – steals the show on the latest Retro High OG to surface, allowing for straightforward “Black” and “White” to take over everything from leather bases to profile swooshes. On trend with several other footwear options from the Oregon-based conglomerate, midsoles underfoot deliver an “aged” aesthetic that provide some old school credibility to the experimental new Jordans.

Enjoy an extremely early look at the retro ahead, courtesy of Instagram users @zSneakerHeadz and @fkzsneakers, as you wait for official Nike SNKRS launch in March 2023 for $180 USD.

UPDATE 2/8/2023:
The Air Jordan 1 “White Cement” has been reportedly pushed back to May 6th.
