Run the Boroughs began in 2018 as a band of mates reluctantly running to offset their carb load. Over the last four years, the club has grown well beyond the core cohort, and has gotten its own New Balance 730 Made In UK in the process.
A follow-up to the criminally underrated 991 the group collaborated on in 2021, the newly-surfaced pair combines Run the Borough’s signature colors on another shoe ahead of the TCS London Marathon. Premium suede panels and nylon construction cover the entirety of the upper, which was manufactured in Flimby, Cumbria, United Kingdom, and boast shades of blue directly transplanted from RTB’s playful logo. The New Balance silhouette manufactured overseas also references the race’s route via the blue line found on the tongue. Underfoot, the sole unit maintains a simple white and black arrangement that allows for the upper’s makeup to revel in the spotlight.
Enjoy camping imagery of the pair ahead, and anticipate a newbalance.com release date soon given that the London Marathon takes place on Sunday, October 2nd.
