Every year, Nike helps Kevin Durant honor his late Aunt Pearl, who unfortunately passed away from lung cancer over two decades ago. The KD 15, in its all-pink colorway, proudly continues the tradition — and following leaks earlier in the year, official images of the shoe have finally surfaced.
Similar to last year’s installment, this pair is clad in two shades of pink, the darker of which is applied to the Air Zoom pod embedded into the midsole. The construction adjacent, which alternates between mesh and suede, is finished far lighter, matching details such as the tongue patch and TPU cage. A number of more ornate, intricate features then round out the shoe: roses are lightly chiseled into the heel, the Swoosh features a unique design akin to stained glass, and velvet helps construct the floral-clad tongue. What’s more, Aunt Pearl’s name, of course, makes an appearance, sitting right atop the right foot’s heel.

In other news, adidas just unveiled the Trey Young 2.
