While not as highly-regarded as its debut proposition, the Nike GT Cut 2 continues to drive home the Beaverton-based brand’s experimental efforts on the court, with the latest effort potentially signaling a new inline collection for the brand’s non-signature silhouettes to revel in.
Code named “Leap High” for its typography on the informational factory-like tongue tab, a crisp white base layer illuminates the overall composition, allowing for its inclusion of disparate and titular hues to reign supreme. Extending a thin strip of teal at its forefoot, the lower section of the molded heel counter encourages a bright red trim surrounding the latter’s tucked away inclusion. Coordinating the hues of the pair into a speckled arrangement along the midsole, a jet-black Swoosh interjects at the midfoot before an abstract amalgamation of basketball motifs and vivid colors fill the tongue construction and perforated heel tab.
Adding a premium embellishment of marbled branded spheres affixed to the white laces, enjoy official images of the GT Cut 2 “Leap High” below while we sit tight on further release details.
