Jared Ebanks While lace toggles and dominant suede constructions have anchored the Nike Air Max 95’s adult sized propositions, the youth’s tooled offerings tend to extend a simplified construction that allows for its color palette to revel in the limelight. The same is applied here with a “Grey/Black/Royal” ensemble landing on the latest grade school outfit.
Exploring a greyscale scheme throughout its upper, differing shades of grey and a lightened hue work their ways up the overlapping panels of the midfoot while the darker shade envelops the latter efforts including the mesh tongue construction, laces, sock liner and nubuck mudguard. Black and blue Air Max tags illuminate the tongue whereas the latter half of the silhouette extends its seldom yet titular hand with bright blue Swooshes and Air branding placed at the heel.
