The Nike Air Force 1 Low Nylon Takes On A Classic “Black/White” Look

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Nylon Takes On A Classic “Black/White” Look

As one of the most iconic sneaker designs of all time, the Nike Air Force 1 Low has undergone countless modifications since debuting in 1983. Recently, Bruce Kilgore’s classic creation appeared with nylon panels and a straightforward black and white color scheme.

Neither aspect is new to the design, but their latest application is. Lightweight, but durable fabric lands on the toe box and mid-foot panel, contrasting the smooth leather across most of the upper. Swooshes on the sides and branded Achilles heel overlays also take on a leather build, forgoing the light-bending finish found at the forefoot and profiles. Underfoot, the Air Force 1‘s standard midsole and outsole combination features an all white look that allows for the top-half to stand out that much more.

No firm nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
