The Nike Air Max Scorpion Delivers A Black/Red Colorway

The Nike Air Max Scorpion Delivers A Black/Red Colorway

Much like the Air Jordan 1, the “Bred” colorway is the stuff of legend, inspiring many a subsequent sneaker both in and outside of the Swoosh’s walls. And even almost four decades later, the color combo continues to remain relevant, appearing on newer silhouettes the likes of the Air Max Scorpion.

An understated offering relative to many of the model’s most recent, the upcoming Nike Air Max Scorpion “Black/Red” is comprised almost entirely of the palette’s more neutral half. Black dyes not only the Flyknit upper but also the laces, outsole, and many of the adjacent accents. Red, then, comes in along the eyestays, oversized midsole, and every other thread that makes up the embroidered Swoosh.

Enjoy an in-hand look at this pair ahead. A firm release date has yet to surface, but it’s likely we’ll be seeing these on Nike.com and at select retailers a bit later in the year.

In other news, the Air Jordan 2 Fire Red is expected to be landing this Holiday season.
