Nike Covers The Next Air Max 1 Crepe In “Light Bone/Pale Vanilla”

Nike Covers The Next Air Max 1 Crepe In “Light Bone/Pale Vanilla”

The Nike Air Max 1 continues to enjoy a moment in the spotlight, recently appearing with another crepe outsole.

Clad in a summertime-friendly “Light Bone,” “Pale Vanilla,” and “Sail” color scheme, the latest take on Tinker Hatfield’s 36-year-old design is understated. Yet, its non-standard side swooshes, mudguard, and sole unit make statements of their own.

The bulk of the upper takes on an off white arrangement that’s contrasted by light blue fabric around the base. Profile logos also opt for a fashion-forward finish that further removes the Air Max 1 from its performance running origins. Underneath, the midsole matches the yellowed side swooshes, with visible Air Max bubbles following suit. Lastly, the crepe outsole updates Hatfield’s iconic design for the modern fashion enthusiast.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead. A nike.com launch hasn’t been announced, but is expected before summer ends.
