Securing a 3-1 lead over the Atlanta Hawks in the first round on Sunday night behind Jayson Tatum’s 31 points and seven rebounds, the Boston Celtics are all but positioned to make a definitive run toward the title in the 2023 postseason. Alongside the potential for postseason proclamation, Tatum’s first signature silhouette with Jordan Brand is simultaneously set for a debut of the ages as the Beaverton brand prepares the next general release pair of the Jordan Tatum 1.
As one of the most well-groomed players in the League, Tatum’s obsession with a crisp haircut has been well-documented since his emergence in the League in 2017. Succeeding his Air Jordan 35 “Barbershop” PE, years of Tatum sitting in the barber chair is now represented in the fourth official colorway of his signature silhouette. Previewed back when the tooling was first introduced at All-Star Weekend, a soft “Coconut Milk” fills the mesh forefoot and TPU frame underfoot while jet-black hues accent the trim of the aforementioned embellishments. Illuminated by opposing bright blue and red undercarriages, the shop’s staple red, white and blue pole is anchored at the heel tabs while golden metallic embroidery fills the JT and Jumpman logos.
Tentatively scheduled to release on May 16th for a retail price of $120, enjoy detailed imagery of the Jordan Tatum 1 “Barbershop” in the meantime below.
For more on-court options, Devin Booker’s Nike Zoom G.T. Cut 2 PE is set to receive a general release soon.
