First Look At The Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs” Releasing September 2023

First Look At The Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs” Releasing September 2023

Initially reported back in November 2022, the Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs” was reportedly returning sometime in 2023 complete with the original red pull-tab at the heel. Now, a first look confirms that detail, while a new release date further cements this original within the Fall 2023 season.

A first look at the much-anticipated release has been revealed by @solesbyzay_backup on Instagram, confirming the updated detail. While just one angle is revealed, the design of the shoes are hardly a mystery as this colorway, also referred to as the “True Red”, is among the most iconic Air Jordans in history. It was primarily worn by Jordan during the second half of the ’92-’93 season and throughout the 1993 Playoffs during which MJ completed his first championship three-peat. That postseason would be the last time this black/red Air Jordan 8 would see the light of day as Jordan would shock the world by announcing his retirement that following October.

The Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs” is now expected to release on September 30th, 2023 for $210. It was previously reported to drop on the 2nd.
