Ahead of summer, Ja Morant‘s first signature sneaker with the Swoosh has appeared in a season-appropriate “Ember Glow” makeover. Reminiscent of LeBron James’ footwear during the Miami Heat era, the upcoming pair features a near-fluorescent arrangement across the upper. Synthetic and mesh materials across the upper boast a near-uniform finish, although panels on the spine and profile swooshes interrupt the look. Sole units underfoot take on a much more understated color scheme than both the upper and Morant’s off-court persona. All together, the “Ember Glow” Ja 1 makes for a compelling option for those looking to hoop or style.
Enjoy an early look at the pair ahead. An official nike.com launch date hasn’t been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. Retailers like Finish Line, however, currently list the shoes as dropping on July 3rd.
