The Air Jordan 2 “Crystal Mint” Exudes The Majestic Statue Of Liberty In New York

We’re not saying this upcoming Air Jordan 2 “Crystal Mint” has any ties to the marvelous monument that sits in Ellis Island just south of Manhattan. But this colorway certainly brings back memories of all the NYC-inspired footwear that has come into the fold over the last decade plus.

We’re immediately reminded of the Nike SB Dunk High and Air Max Hyperposite that featuring the same minty green an bronze finish, both of which were homages to Lady Liberty. This upcoming Air Jordan 2 for women certainly achieves that same look as the Crystal Mint appears in the perfectly placed accent package with Metallic Red Bronze adding that rusted effect on the Air Jordan emblem on the tongue and on the NIKE lettering on the heel. Wolf Grey on the tumbled leather is the stone foundation that holds the statue up.

There is no official intended connection between this drop and the Green Goddess, but New Yorkers will likely be keen on these when they drop this Fall/Winter season for $175.
