After dropping his fifth signature with The Swoosh a few weeks ago, the performance basketball market now shifts its focus to the ensuing slate of color blockings infused within the Nike Zoom Freak 5. Following the exploration into “Oreo” and Bucks-synonymous ensembles, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s fifth Nike shoe now extends a titular wave for the youth.
Constructed in grade school and pre-school sizes exclusively, the playful colorway first attributes its knit base layer, mesh tongue and crystalized profile swooshes to a jet-black background. The pitch-dark blank canvas allows for the duo of neon-based shades to shine within the digitized print of the quarter overlay. “Photo Blue” tones concentrate further along the medial side of the tongue, pull tabs and the etched midsole section of the swoosh while a complimentary set of hot pinks illuminates the tread, embroidered heel logo and the trim of the mainstay check.
The Nike Zoom Freak 5 “Photo Blue/Pink” is scheduled to release in kids’ and pre-school sizing on August 12th for a retail price of $105. In the meantime, enjoy an official look at the pair below.
