Given the controversy surrounding the man at the helm, it’s no surprise that NikeCraft came to a screeching halt. But despite announcing that they would be distancing themselves from the artist, it appears that the Swoosh could still be in talks with Tom Sachs, as a brand new colorway of the General Purpose Shoe has just surfaced via official images.
While only three styles made their way to the shelves, numerous iterations of the Nike General Purpose Shoe have surfaced over the course of the past year. This includes the pair pictured here, whose colorway primarily consists of neutral tones. Alongside blacked-out outsoles, laces, and heel tabs, the shoe features an upper made up of white mesh unders and tan suede overlays. Color is then relegated to the Swoosh and pull-tabs, which are dressed in “University Gold” and “Pine Green,” respectively.
Enjoy a closer, detailed look at this Tom Sachs x Nike General Purpose Shoe ahead. At the time of writing this, it’s unconfirmed when or even if this colorway will be releasing. For now, sit tight and stay tuned for further updates.
In other news, the adidas Crazy IIInfinity Triple Black drops later this week at Packer.
