Grant Taylor continues to bring his love for classic American muscle cars to the Nike SB Blazer Mid GT.
Over the past few years, the Georgia-native has modified both the Mid and Low versions of Nike Basketball’s first design, delivering compelling color combinations and reliable performance. “GT” branding on the tongue labels keeps its vintage font, working in-tandem with autograph-like “Grant Taylor” text on the upper heel to nod to an older era. Each shoe’s lateral heel is stamped with “98,” with insoles also donning the two-digit number via different old school graphics. Suede construction across the upper indulges in a “University Gold” that’s interrupted with denim swaths at the profiles and spine. Underfoot, the modified-for-skate sole unit keeps things straightforward as midsoles take on a pristine white finish; herringbone-patterned traction favors a black look that completes Nike SB‘s latest for Taylor.
No firm nike.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the pair ahead.
