Kiko Kostadinov’s ASICS NOVALIS GEL-TEREMOA Launches On November 3rd

Kiko Kostadinov has teased several forthcoming projects with ASICS in the last few months, chief among them being his very first sneaker under the NOVALIS umbrella.

Announced much earlier in the year, ASICS NOVALIS is a high-end fashion line helmed by Kiko Kostadinov himself. In addition to $500 dollar parkas and $200 dollar cargo pants, the sub-label will be offering its very own sneaker: the GEL-TEREMOA. After much anticipation, the wait for the shoe seems to be nearing its end, as official images of two upcoming colorways have just surfaced.

Having worked with the Japanese footwear brand since 2017, Kiko Kostadinov commands a great deal of creative freedom. So much, in fact, that he’s among one of the only outside partners to create his own tooling. With the GEL-TEREMOA, it seems the Bulgarian designer has done exactly that yet again, resulting in a silhouette that toes the line between both sides of the collaboration. Above, the upper is constructing largely of premium leather, with mesh layered underneath the eye stays and along the lining and tongue. Novalis branding is then stamped all throughout, including above the stitched Tiger Stripe.

Prepared in Obsidian Black, Medallion Yellow, and Java/Pewter Purple colorways, the Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS NOVALIS GEL-TEREMOA is likely hitting ASICS.com and select retailers on 11/3 for $250. As we wait, enjoy a closer look at all three via the official images ahead.
