Jordan Brand’s “Craft” series has flipped the construction of some of their most famous models on their heads. While drops like the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Craft “Ivory” stand out as high-profile takes on the program, it’s also been explored plenty on more low-key models. Continuing with that concept, the Air Jordan 1 Low SE Craft rebrands the classic model with new premium details.
While suede on the Jordan 1 isn’t reason to stop the presses, the upper is taken over by shaggy, premium sort of material. It works through complementary tones of “Photon Dust” and “Grey” for a soothing neutral palette. While those colors’ similarities may obscure it at first, the shoes actually alternate between colorways here. It’s most easily seen from the back, where the heel and wings logo swap between cream nubuck and grey suede.
As with all the drops in the Craft series, this design gets experimental in some of the finer details. Exposed stitching sits above that heel Wings logo, the toebox panel is split, and the Jumpman sits centered on the tongue rather than on a tag. Finally, the design as a whole is flush with itself, the Swoosh flat on the sides rather its typical overlaid position.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Craft “Photon Dust” will retail for $125, likely dropping in the coming months. Enjoy a full suite of images just below.
Elsewhere in the Jordan Releases 2024 landscape, this weekend’s Air Jordan 9 “Powder Blue” stands as one of this season’s biggest.
